- Compliance with applicable legal and regulatory obligations
- Fraud detection, abuse prevention, and service improvement
2. Ethical Use of Data
User data is not sold or transferred to third parties for unsolicited marketing. Access is strictly limited to internal operations or legally mandated disclosures.
3. Animal Welfare and Legal Compliance
ForeverPets upholds a firm commitment to animal welfare. The platform enforces compliance with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, and users are strictly prohibited from uploading content that suggests or promotes cruelty, negligence, or abuse of animals.
4. Regulation of Breeding and Crossbreeding Activities
The platform does not permit listings that involve unauthorized or illegal pet breeding or crossbreeding practices. Users must comply with the Breeding and Marketing Rules, 2017 and relevant advisories issued by the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI).
5. Banned or Unauthorized Animal Transactions
Listings involving species or breeds explicitly restricted or prohibited by Indian law, including exotic species without appropriate clearances under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, will be subject to immediate removal and further legal escalation.
6. Limitation of Liability and Platform Neutrality
ForeverPets functions as a neutral intermediary as defined under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act. We do not engage in pet trading or ownership and bear no liability for user-generated content or transactions conducted independently on the platform.
7. Enforcement and Reporting
We reserve the right to investigate and take action (including account suspension or reporting to authorities) in instances of non-compliance, fraud, or abuse. Users may report violations through our support channels.
8. Amendments
We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via the platform or by direct communication.
